really liked it
bookshelves: historical-fiction

One of the greats. A story that takes place during the Great Depression and shows society through the eyes of a little girl. It had been a really long time since I had read this book, it was well worth a re-read and I am glad I picked it up again. Scout is a spunky, sweet girl just trying to grow up and the perfect voice for a book full of tough subjects.
