it was amazing

This has been one of my favorite of all the Cooper and Fry mysteries so far. I love how Mr. Booth evokes the sense of place and time so well in all his books. This one will surely have any reader shivering from the cold. I really couldn't see how all the story threads, the naked body the snow plow turned up, the woman dying in the snow, the missing airman from WWII, and the various cases of muggings in the town, would ever be tied together. I like this one a lot. I look forward to the next one.
