Haaving a hard time thus's about Diane's husband's stroke, so God knows this isn't going to be light fare, but a third of the way through it's been an unrelenting series of terrible events and deep, repetitive descriptions of sadness, fear, and loneliness. I keep holding out hope for some redemeption and light from the tragedy, but I fear it's just a book about a tragedy.
