liked it

I'm in two minds about this one which is why I gave it three stars.

The idea is there, I can see why it got publishers interested, but it's so disjointed in its delivery that I struggled with it at times. It starts strong, & kept my interest throughout, even when it started becoming hugely predictable...

(see what I did there?)

My biggest problem was with the characters. None of them really stuck out, they just seemed to be a bunch of bland people who hang out together doing bland things.

When I think of the situation they find themselves in, I can't understand how I found none of them interesting. They all react strongly, but I found some of their reactions unrealistic, even if most of them were portrayed as nothing but shallow & egotistical. None of them seem to like each other either, so with that in mind, how are we supposed to like them?

It is well written, & I managed to make it all the way to the end, but I'd guessed the big twist less than halfway through.

I recommend this one for a lazy day when you have nothing else to do.
