liked it
Read from March 12 to April 02, 2012

I finished this book on April 2nd, and overall, I liked this book. The characters have amazing character traits, and the bonds between the characters are also amazing. Although I wasn't very fond of the plot, setting and overall premise of the book, deep underneath that, it was an okay book. If this book was about the same thing but without killing-if the people who were hurt got tkaen back to their district, I would have liked the book better, plus Katniss' mother would have made a lot more money since she helps to heal people. Also, my favorite character is Katniss, because she was there with Rue until the very end, and she helped nursed Peeta back to health. Also, Katniss shows that girls can be very powerful, brave and strong, and she shows that when she shot the apple that was in the roasted pig's mouth with her bow and arrow. That was also my favorite part of the book.

I think that Gale might ahve a secret crush on Katniss, because he wanted to run away with her, but then again he probably just wants to leave the poor neighborhood of District 12. I can't blame him-it seems like such a creepy place to live, which is why I don't like the plot of the book right now."

I agree with the Rue dying thing. There will be violence... You wait. *Evil grin*
