Fat Charlie had a boring and uneventful life until one day he discovers he has a brother named Spider and his world is changed forever. Spider is not only his brother, but also a demigod--the son of a Trickster god named Anansi, as is Fat Charlie, although it seems that all the "magickal" abilities are available for Spider's use while Fat Charlie has none. Or are they?

This is supposedly a continuation of American Gods by Neil Gaiman which I wasn't able to finish because I found it confusing with too many characters to follow. Anansi Boys, however, was enjoyable and well-written.
