The Wolf Lord (Ars Numina, #3) by Ann Aguirre Ahhh. Raff and Thalia. The Wolf Lord and the Eldritch Princess. This mismatched--and misfit--pair forms a political union and end up with so much more. Raff is one of those charming if shallow rogues that you can't help but like. As with other Aguirre characters, waters run deep in both Raff and Thalia. There's action, suspense, betrayal, revelations, and best of all, the character arc for both is most satisfying. I enjoyed this one a lot. Also, for those keeping count, it wasn't quite as sexy as the previous book in the series. Neither here nor there for me, but some people get bent over the really sexy bits. I should also mention, since I'm listening to the Audible versions of these books, that Wilhelmina Grace does a good job with the narration.
