it was ok
bookshelves: audiobook
Read from March 11 to 20, 2012

I was expecting this to be a funny, light entertaining read but was quite disappointed in it. I did not find the characters to be believable at all - they were caricatures who said and did things for comic effect. There was one exception - Alexander was kind, thoughtful and realistic. His polar opposite was Poppy who was repulsive, vile and simply not someone I could relate to in real life. As someone who read and enjoyed the Adrian Mole series, I had higher expectations of this.
