liked it

I liked this book and especially when we get a feeling about how it was to live in East Germany before the wall. I also enjoyed the fact that the atmosphere of Berlin was very well rendered. If some of the events were quite predictable, I liked the little twist at the end. I only give 3 stars because first I did not think the love story was realistic (when they were together), I thought they were more acting like teenagers than lovers who have actually a little more experience, are a little more mature. Also the reason of her sadness that she will reveal to him (well, only the part she tells him) was too obvious to me, the spying development was also quite predictable. And then, when he was so madly in love, how could he not hear her side of the story, just listen to strangers. But other than that, I would recommend that book, I had a good time reading it.
