it was ok
bookshelves: mc, criminal-convict, contemporary, romanceopoly, chef-baker, kindle-unlimited, 2019

This book was ok. I had some issues with Zak. I didn't like how pushy he was and that he never listened to what Sophie said. He just kept pushing his agenda onto her until she basically gave in, which isn't healthy for a relationship. He also refused to explain simple things about the club, like what an old lady is, when Sophie clearly doesn't understand what it is going on. This is one of my peeves and made me no really love this book.

I was glad to see Sophie finally stood up for herself after a while. It still bothers me all the stuff she put up with before he would listen though. I felt like the book ended rather abruptly as well. We don't see a resolution with the other MC or his family. Overall, the story was was ok, the sex was really steamy, but the relationship, for me, was stressful.
