This was the right balance between swoony, angsty, and funny :) The banter between Ronan and Imogen when they first got betrothed was absolutely hilarious! Their trying to make the other cry off went a little long to me, but the climax of the story and conclusion more than made up for it.
There were LOTS of secondary characters in here from previous books in the series and another series this writing duo wrote, but have no fear, you won't be lost if you read it as a stand alone (like I did).
Overall, a very entertaining read!
