it was amazing
bookshelves: historical-fiction
Read from June 04 to 13, 2012

Often when I read a book that moves me emotionally I'm left feeling inarticulate and struggle to write a review. This book is having that effect on me. From the beginning I was honestly anticipating a really good story and it has lived up to this. The setting in Portugal and Spain was an instant attraction and as the story developed it surprised me in many ways. The author truly focused on Estevao and Inez. You do get a insight to the historical times but walk away with the feeling of a love story and the powerful emotions that go along with that. There are some really interesting characters that have amazing stories of their own and throughout the book and you are taken on the journey with them and discover how they play a vital role in the story. If you are a fan of historical love stories this one not to be missed!
