Jasmin Miller has done it again with her second standalone book in the Brooksville Novel series One Short Summer.  This story is so sweet it will give you a cavity so make an appointment with your dentist before reading.  Gabe Mitchell, the main male character, is every woman’s dream, smart, strong, gorgeous and oh so thoughtful and considerate.  Why can’t these men be real????  Miller is an incredible author and her writings demonstrate her talents in pulling the reader into the story and making you feel like you are actually there.  One Short Summer by Jasmin Miller is worthy of 5 stars and needs to be on your summer reading list.

Monica has been recuperating in Brooksville, California after a car accident broke her leg and put her dancing career on hold.  Staying at her best friend’s future brother-in-law’s house, Monica can’t deny the attraction she felt for Gabe when they first met.  Monica has been staying at Gabe’s house for the last year and they have become best friends, but Gabe has watched Monica spiral into a depression about not dancing and he’s got to do something to snap her out of it.  Gabe has One Short Summer in between stolen kisses to write his latest book and get Monica back in the dance studio again and to get control of his feelings and then let her go.
