I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a bit slow in starting but picked up and became enjoyable. It was so sweet 'watching' Gavin fall in love with Deirdre. Although, I was irritated that no one seemed to understand Gavin's pain when Deirdre kept calling Ewan "my son". Ewan wasn't her son, he was Gavin's son but everyone wanted to be sure Deirdre didn't get her feelings hurt. It was because Gavin was a good person that she was allowed to stay in his life. In the end it was very sweet. I wasn't very happy with how her 'marriage' issue was resolved either. He had a secret family and was going to bring her along when he fled!@# wth?? Yeah, not a fan of that.
