really liked it
bookshelves: graphic-novels, manga

It's good. Scary good. There's a certain minimalist timing that causes one to thing about the space between images. I want to read it again a few times, but a bit of a spoiler is wrenching. I cried. I admit it. I took a couple of breaks, and I wasn't entirely sure if it was because I wanted to draw the story out, or because I would go through some more tissues. Maybe both. Read it in private, or maybe you're just more hard core than I and it wouldn't matter, but who knows? Close portraits of a person often get to me, it's the in depth story of a singular character that I have a weak spot for. I'll probably be ready for a re-read sometime next year.
