it was ok
bookshelves: mysteries

This was more of a crime novel than a mystery. One major mystery to me is why I read this book (Linda did you recommend it?) I actually thought it was another book but I took it on vacation and I could recommend it as a "beach" book. I do not like crime novels very much but as they go this had some interesting elements (each hour in the life of a guy before he is going to prison; the story of three friends who met in high school). Interestingly, I was also read Truth and Beauty and Ann Patchett is cited on the book cover lauding this book.
