I really enjoyed this book. Steve Jobs was a committed genius. Even though he could clearly be a jerk and treat others harshly, he had a vision and pursued it doggedly. He believed in a fully integrated experience for users, which is why he was so insistent about Apple controlling the design of all the hardware and software for its products that it could. He saw things as black and white, either "brilliant" or "total sh*t." I learned a lot about being dedicated to ideas and innovation, and believing in the power of commitment to perfection — with all its costs.
