For me the most interesting part of this story was the story about Elsie and her mother and father's Bakery in Germany. The fact that Reba was writing a piece for her local paper and her relationship with Riki was hit and miss actualy detracted from the story a little , was rather cheesy and led to a predictable ending.I actually found myslef almost skipping the parts about Reba in order to read more about Elsie's story! I finished the book as I wanted to find out what had happened to Hazel,Tobias and the other surviving ( or not as the case may be) members and friends of the family. The recipes at the end were a surprise bonus!!
