liked it

I was surprised at how often I actually found myself laughing out loud while reading Tartuffe. It was extremely enjoyable and comical.

The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was how Tartuffe is brought to justice at the end. I was hoping for the family to really have to out smart Tartuffe themselves, rather than (somewhat randomly) be saved by the king who saw through Tartuffe. I would be interested also to hear any ideas anyone else whos read the play has on why Molière decided to write it that way.

All in all it was a great read :) Id love the chance to see it performed one day.
