it was amazing

I listened to this collection of short stories using the Librivox app, which had a very pleasant and engaging voice to listen to.

The Giant's Heart was okay, but it lost me and I didn't completely understand the point of it.

The Golden Key was better. It was a fun story, and contained some deep gems to ponder.

But the best story was, of course, The Light Princess. It took me awhile to catch the symbolism (I actually had to listen to the last couple chapters a second time to fully appreciate them). But once I did, it was fun and beautiful. This is a story I can see myself reading again and again, to my wife, and to my kids, and recommending to others frequently.

I've come to love George MacDonald's writing. Both his fiction and non-fiction is deep and packed. I can definitely see why C.S. Lewis loved him so much.
