it was amazing

Having read all of Freeman's novel so far, I have to say that this is my favorite. Don't get me wrong, I love the Jonathan Stride series, but this book is something special.

A girl is found strangled on a beach. There is one main suspect, but everyone involved in the case has a secret. That is the magic of this book. Every secret is hinted at or alluded to, but you have to wait for the story to play out to find out what everyone is hiding. This story operates on MANY different levels and the anticipation builds towards a twisted solution...

Everyone has a secret...
