I was torn between 3 and 4 stars for this book, but decided to be generous because there is a touch of genius here. As well as being inspired by the hilarious Springtime for Hitler, I read an interview where De Witt says she wrote it because she was fucked from behind by the publishing industry. If that's the case, she certainly found a creative use for her anger. I loved the Sinclair Lewis-like American success story De Witt satirized and the role of two smart women in turning a bizarre office sexual harassment policy to their great advantage.
