I enjoyed this memoir about 21st century grandparenthood, and it was as valuable to me as a mother as I imagine it would be to a grandmother. I had never read anything by Anna Quindlen before, and I really appreciated her conversational tone and her honest reflections on her personal thoughts, feelings, and actions as Nana to her grandson. She does a nice job of outlining the opportunities for potential conflicts between generations and suggesting how to avoid them, but without coming across as a condescending know-it-all. I'm planning to read more of her nonfiction!
