it was amazing

This was a completely engrossing narrative. I was totally sucked in. Bacon slows the action way down, giving an almost minute-by-minute account of the collision and resulting explosion. He chooses to focus on key characters, and we follow their stories through that fateful day and beyond. During the heart of the narrative I was saying "wow" under my breath what seemed like every couple of minutes. The devastation of the city is beyond comprehension.

The audio version kept my attention throughout the entire book. I'm sure it would be a compelling print read as well.
