Despite not being a pet owner, I really enjoyed this book. Trout, a veterinary surgeon, introduces us to a plethora of pets, their problems, his solutions, and their occasionally quirky owners. Among his stories, he discusses some interesting questions about pet healthcare, the cost involved, and how far you should go to save a pet. I think this would be a great book club selection.

Lisa I have a hold on this book and another by the same author, Love is the best medicine. Have your read that one?

Emily No, I haven't read that one. I'll have to watch for your review of it.
