Viscount Rohan who is the chief provocateur of the Heavenly Host, a wickedly elite group whose all-consuming ambition is the pursuit of carnal pleasures, after many years has reached a point of ennui where little is stimulating nor pleasurable, until the appearance of the impoverished Elinor Harriman. In the rush to find her ill and deranged mother, Elinor crashes a gathering of the Heavenly Host. Her courage immediately attracts the attention of its leader, Viscount Rohan, and the games begin. While Elinor is outwardly appalled by the activities of the Heavenly Host and its leader, she is inwardly drawn to his dark seduction. Who will save who in this darkly wild adventure?

Wowwwwww.....the long wait to read this first book in a series of three was well worth it! The sensuality is off the charts! For those who love the dark side of seduction, this book will knock you socks off. It really has everything . . . mysterious, deep, consuming characters with breath-holding adventure and tummy-tingling sex scenes :-) I couldn't put it down. Each of the three books tells the story of the next generation of the House of Rohan. A must read!

Liz F Oh my gosh, I agree. Your review is so spot on. How is it that you're able to say in one sentence something that takes me a whole paragraph to get out??? LOL!! Yeah, I loved this book. I wanted a little bit more naughty time between Rohan and Elinor, of course. And Elinor's mom made me want to throw the book. What a b**ch!!!!! Grr! But wow, what a book!! :)
