Wanting to escape life. Wanting to find the exit but is ended up only at another entrance. Travis Wayne in this story faced challenges in life by running away from them, from going to the exit all at once.

Exit Here shows how life can really just happen and could really just fuck yourself up. It shows that everything changes and that even your most loved person tells you that they won't change, never listen for nothing is permanent.

There is really a instant exit on problems. You may disregard it at one time but the future will come and you would have to face another entrance and live with the consequence there is for your actions.

Being drunk or being high is not an excuse to be reckless and to do stupid things. You may do stupid things but be sure that the consequence there is are the risks that you are willing to take.

Travis Wayne's coming back to his hometown after moving away from Hawaii shows how he cannot handle the situation and then he ditch out.

But going back to face his consequences shows his bravery at the last part of the novel. This novel shows that one can escape but cannot fully escape and would still ended up in another different entrance.

Life would not give you a chance to put everything back the way they were. Life would not go well without accomplished things that are needed to accomplish.
