it was amazing
bookshelves: fae, urban-fantasy, angel, demon

** spoiler alert ** It was a very dark book and very sad too. She spends the whole book grieving for Gabriel and trying to prove herself. At the end she does tries to let him go.

The development with Nathaniel is very unexpected. She has always distrusted and despise him, now she has come to care for him. SHOCKED!

At the end of the book she gives up her "death" powers and with it her wings. Her wings are such part of her, I was very sad to see it go and hope that she finds a way to get them back, although I understand why she cannot take souls to the door anymore. She has too much on her plate right now.

There is a new player in the book who hates Lucifer and promise to help Maddy when her new foe shows up.

I think Bezzle is right and Maddy needs to make a pact with Lucifer. She needs to be stronger and her enemies needs to fear her, so she can protect her baby.

Maddy was finally able to kill Azazel.
