it was amazing

I just reread this book on my Iphone and the verdict rests: a good story is a good story no matter what format you read it in. Also, Iphones are excellent because they light up when you read under the covers. I felt like I was 12 years old and staying up past my bedtime.

It's been so many years since I last read the novel, and not so many weeks since I last saw the movie, so I was surprised to read the chapters after Mr. Darcy proposes. We get so much more information about the consequences of their union. The latter chapters also offer some hefty money mongering comments that are tempered in the movie versions. But, of course, that's a reflection of that society and time.

I'm partial to Mr. Bennet's dry wit, as always. Particularly when he says he likes Mr. Wickham best.

The book is still as good as ever.
