it was ok
bookshelves: did-not-finish

It is entirely my fault. I was at a new-to-me library and and picked up the first pretty book to catch my eye. Well, it turned out that I picked up a book published by Guideposts. It is written by a lovely woman and the first two chapters have some beautiful language and the glimmer of some sweet ideas, but it desperately needs an editor and a proofreader. Will not finish and, sadly, do not recommend.

P-eggy It is a pretty book and it might have hooked me, but it won't now!

Jennifer Roberson Perkins Whatever! Your very misinformed and completely verbally challenged if this book doesn't draw you in completely! This is such a wonderful book that I've read it twice and will probably continue to read it again periodically until she or someone else writes something more compelling

But as a professional editor, it's hard for me to read past "your" for "you're" and not using punctuation. You and the author have that in common.
