liked it

I chose this book because I have read the author before and because my husband is a HUGE Western movie fan and I have seen lots and lots of Western movies (by default) and even been to Tombstone and the OK Corral. Well, this book did not disappoint either from the writer or the historical factoids of the Western genre. Every time I said"Did you know...." he said "why, of course, everyone knows that! " It is a fun read, filled with interesting facts and you do care about the characters; and characters they are! I liked the little slice of Western history. It was a nice change of pace from dysfunctional Southern families or the Holocaust or WWI tragedies. Kind of a step back to the old childhood enjoyment of the Saturday afternoon matinees, but for big girls. I recommend it.
