Quality of writing was surprisingly good especially considering the topic is Wall Street. Though published sometime during the 1950's, it has a lot to offer in terms of how markets fail. One interesting tidbit (among many) that I learned was about the Florida land but in 1925 that caused widespread economic failure about investors for the same reasons that that characterized the US Mortage crisis in 2008. The Florida land speculation was described as a contributor to weakness in the US economy and hence, shares some of the blame (at least by the author) but the 1929 crash.
