really liked it

This book is about a boy named Jonah who lives in a Utopia-like society. There is a ceremony at every age celebrating that age with a gift. At the ceremony of twelve, you get your life assignment and study in that field until you are ready to enter it. Jonah gets a surprise when he gets assigned as "Receiver of Memories." He then begins his journey of learning about his own society, and perhaps it isn't as innocent as he always believed it would be.
I liked this book. It was extremely interesting. It was really interesting how this society had set it up, but I didn't get the ending. I understood why Jonah was going to take Gabe away from that society, but I felt like the ending needed something else. I don't understand what happened and that frustrated me. Regardless of my confusion this was a great book, and I understand now why everyone raves about it.
