it was amazing

I was lucky enough to receive an advanced reader's edition of this novel. Set during the beginning days of the Nazi regime, primarily in Vienna, The Last Train to London is moving and compelling. Moving between several viewpoints, Clayton creates an atmosphere sometimes claustrophobic, sometimes bittersweet, sometimes painful and sometimes thrilling, but always beautiful and detailed and emotional. She plunges you fully into time and place. I could not put it down in the last half. Highly recommended.
