The artwork in this board book is so sweet and cheerful. Though I think Anne fans of an age that can read the original books are probably the best audience for it, my toddler enjoyed looking at the pictures and labeling every human being as a "baby." It's not the most successful book for teaching letters and their sounds, since it includes Anne-specific references (like "E is for Anne with an E") that charm L.M. Montgomery fans but don't do much for babies without the context. Still, it's an attractive book and we like having it on our shelves.
