really liked it
bookshelves: nonfiction
Read from March 15 to 22, 2012

Academic, but an easy narrative to read. An outstanding story of a woman ahead of her time, or at least someone who stepped out of the traditional role of women. Extremely smart and driven to protect the interests of her children, she became the richest woman in England, second only to Elizabeth I.

Definitley one worth keeping on the shelf.
