really liked it

This was a super fun friends to lovers romance audiobook! At first I was iffy on the concept of a woman who's "one of the guys" and doesn't have any women friends (I know those women exist, I just find it hard to identify with). But Millie's emotional intimacy issues and history with unresolved trauma/grief from her mom's death made the situation very believable. I also really liked how this gender-reversed the usual "woman teaches man how to get in touch with his emotions" trope. The parts where Millie actually started dealing with her shit were quite moving.

Oh also you'll have to suspend your disbelief that multiple of these professor characters who are in their late 20s / early 30s already have tenure haha.
