really liked it

Paul Richardson's Russian Rules is an exciting thriller about expats living in Moscow unwittingly caught up in a scheme to smuggle radioactive materials to make a dirty bomb. The characters are likable, and my only complaints were that early on, the plot seemed a little too convenient--things got resolved a little bit too predictably, but by the end it all made sense. Overall a very good thriller providing insight into modern day Moscow, by the editor of Russian LIfe magazine.
