really liked it
bookshelves: african-american

This story of Rosa Parks gives a very human look at the day in which she refused to be moved from her seat. I especially liked the beginning of the story describing her family, because it gave a very real element to the famous woman. I think this book is worth sharing with our elementary age children during African American heritage month.
