did not like it
bookshelves: adult-fiction, character-doorway, romance, reality-fiction

I have read a couple of Sparks' books before, and while never overly thrilled with them, none were as formulaic or cheesy as this one. The characters were dull and lacked depth, especially Savannah, and the story was predictable. The best parts of the book had nothing to do with Savannah and John's relationship but with John and his father. John does develop as a character and the end wasn't as predictable as you would think, but overall, I would not read it again
