it was amazing

Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle cures such 'diseases' as "Answer-Backers"and "Never-Want-to-Go-to-Bedders" without drugs or shock treatments!

At any rate, one of the reasons I enjoyed this book is as a sort of snapshot or window into childhood/parenthood in the mid-20th century U.S., but on another level Betty MacDonald is a delightful and witty author with a bit of an edge.
