it was amazing

Jesse and Matt were together when they were younger but something horrible happened. Her sisters now ex husband tried to make a move on Jesse and then told her sister Nicole that she had been the one to try and lead him astray. After that shit hit the fan as they say. Matt found out and when she told her sister and Matt that it wasn't the truth, no one believed her. When she tried one last time with Matt and told him she was pregnant. He said the baby wasn't his and he didn't care. So Jesse did the only thing she could think of, she left. That was five years ago.

Now Jesse is finally coming back home, to face her past and demons and she's bringing her and Matt's son Gabe with her. Gabe has been asking about his father and wants to know him. Jesse has taken that request seriously and now she's on Matt's doorstep. Only issue is Matt is angry, really angry. He doesn't care about Jesse's love, he's told himself. He only cares about one thing and that's revenge.

As you watch the characters struggle through this novel, you begin to fall in love with them. You feel their joy, sorrow, happiness and pain. It was a very emotional read and I firmly believe this book would attract mature audiences. I even cried quite a ways through it, I felt caught up, right there with these characters. It's an excellent read!
