really liked it
bookshelves: action-adventure, futuristic, multicultural, sci-fi, ya

172 Hours on the Moon is a fast-faced sci-fi adventure. Three teens are chosen to go to the moon for an entire week, 172 hours, but there’s a reason why NASA hasn’t sent any missions to the moon in forty years. Even though it started a bit cheesy, I was still on the edge of my seat and it became even more intense at page 323 (and that’s when it got scary for me). Readers know that something bad is going to happen, and maybe it was just me, but you don’t know how bad things will get. 172 Hours on the Moon is definitely action driven and while there is some character development and background, the focus is the action and what is happening on the moon. And the ending (except for the last two pages) was so perfect. I will definitely recommend this to people who like creepy, slightly scary stories.
