it was amazing
bookshelves: fiction, suspense

How he does it, I don't know, but Sandford never disappoints. From the steamy back woods of Louisiana, where a cops discover a stash of cannibalised bodies to the dry heat of Las Vegas - Lucas Davenport tracks the cannibal, who travels with a group of home invasion artists. Things go dramatically wrong for the bad guys, and meticulous police procedure keep Davenport and assorted other feds close on their heels.

This is, I think, the 29th book in the Prey series. I've enjoyed every one.
