did not like it

Full disclosure: I didn't actually finish this book. It's not that I found the extremely explicit group sex descriptions offensive, it's just after 30 pages of her going on and on about them, I started to grow bored. I flipped ahead to see if any of it was going anywhere, and it didn't. I think it would have been more interesting to hear about the implications of the culture on herself, how she changed, if the group sex clture cahnged, but it was mostly long winded descriptions of outrageous meaningless sex that just became repetitive. If you want it as raw erotica, it might be worth it, But I read it because I appreciate a good biography and was hoping for some more introspection.
