it was amazing

It's an enthralling, quick read that I first picked up because I was intrigued about hardcore mountain climbing; however, I was quickly sobered to the profound dangers attached to it. Krakauer writes with authority, having been on Everest the whole time, and demonstrates a tireless respect for the facts. It's a magnificent thriller that shows real events often much richer than fiction.
