did not like it
bookshelves: not-worthwhile, mediocre, did-not-finish

This book did nothing for me. I reached page 180 and stopped. As a child, I used to watch "Upstairs, Downstairs" and loved the show. Margaret Powell writes about all of her jobs and it's interesting to read the difference between the classes, but after a while, it became repetitious and tedious.
