Scarlett hasn't had an easy life. When Scarlett and her sister Ashleigh were young, their mother was diagnosed with severe mental health issues, and prior to the beginning of the book, their mother has committed suicide. Finding the body had such an effect on Scarlett, that she cannot bring herself to visit the grave.

But after meeting a Fae Prince called Cade who offers to take away her pain, she's swept off to the Fae Realm and finds herself stuck between two warring brothers.

I actually liked this book despite the many many problems I came across. The main one is (view spoiler).

It feels like the author is trying to set up a love triangle, but Cade (view spoiler).

Despite that, I did really enjoy the story and the world-building. Also, Raith was the lesser of two evils. (view spoiler). I want more of that in the sequel!

Really looking forward to the second book!
