Typical Bridges stuff. Boy falls in love with girl who is in trouble. At the end the villains are caught and the couple are planning to live happily ever after. The only bright spark in the tale was the foppish friend, Tony Cartwright, monocles and all.

First Line: With a purposeful air, Mr. Scudamore advanced briskly up the deck and dropped down into the vacant chair alongside of Jack Curtis.
