really liked it
bookshelves: owned

When I started listening to this collection, I thought I'd made a mistake. King's drony, nasal voice seemed utterly unsuited to the audio format. By the time I finished it, I wouldn't have had it any other way.

By the way, please for god's sake, expose yourselves to the original stort story version of "1408." I think the best way is with this collection, but if you prefer print, then by all means read it in "Everything's Eventual." Either way, it beats the almighty hell out of the film version. Sad, really, because it's one of King's absolute best stories.
